Canadian Man Facing Prison For Passing Out 'Safe Sex' Pamphlets At Gay Pride Parade

Chicago - Gay Pride Parade
A Christian man named Bill Whatcott has been issued a criminal arrest warrant for an apparent "hate crime" against homosexuality. Bill apparently passed out nearly 3000 pamphlets during a gay pride rally in Toronto, Canada. The pamphlets contained information about "safe sex" and highlighted acts of homosexuality as sinful.

According to Daily Wire, the man faces up to two years in prison.

The 51-year-old has been charged with the "Wilful Promotion of Hatred against an identifiable group, namely the gay community" and faces up to two years behind bars. According to a news release from the Toronto Police Service, Whatcott was arrested in Calgary on June 22 in connection to the "Hate Crime investigation." Whatcott says he drove to the station and turned himself in.
The parade was held in 2016, which means that Bill was charged 2 years after the incident. Is it me, or is the late timing a bit unusual?

Christianity has been under fire from progressive groups and an obsessively biased media for decades and this scenario is no different. It goes without saying that Bill could have used his time more effectively to voice his displeasure with homosexuality, but some would also argue that his actions were harmless. Either way, Christians are usually treated less fairly than most religious groups in situations such as these. How much longer will Christianity be forced to endure the double standard?

The only hope we have at this point is Jesus Christ. If more people would turn their hearts to the King of Kings, this world might realize that true peace and tolerance comes from serving the Lord God.

If we turn our minds and hearts to Jesus, we can live life the way it was intended for us. This world is cruel and unfair for Christians.

This is disgusting. The mans actions were mostly harmless and shouldn't have lead to incarceration.
