No, it is not required for believers in Christ to join or attend a church. With that said, attending local church services or Bible study groups is something that believers in Christ should do on a regular basis in order to enhance their spiritual growth. Attending a church that teaches the truth about Jesus Christ can lead to several spiritual benefits and should be considered by all Christian believers.
Are Christians required to attend church?
Each service provides an opportunity for us to learn and grow from new messages and teachings. The messages delivered by church pastors are thoughtfully designed to improve the relationship between you and God the Father. Another benefit is the opportunity to volunteer; most churches have programs to volunteer your time and provide service to the church or local community.
While you can choose to not attend church, Christian fellowship can be a huge motivating factor and greatly improve your spiritual health.
